On-Site Representation

Leads, develops and implements modern OH&S concepts for the Project

• Implement, maintain and enhance the Integrated Infrastructure Services OH&S management system
• Respond to daily operational concerns requiring expert OH&S knowledge
• Take on-call rotations and act as an emergency on-call for all areas of the Project
• Build relationships with senior management, staff, contractors
• Implement program action plans from previous safety audits
• Ensure compliance with the British Columbia OH&S Act, Regulation and Code
• Participate in corporate OH&S initiatives
• Develop and implement HSE materials and required documentation for HSE initiatives.
• Audit and evaluate programs, develop action plans and manage projects
• Consult with the areas regarding OH&S concerns, while identifying OH&S deficiencies and providing recommendations to ensure worker safety
• Lead serious incident investigations, focusing on "Root Cause" analysis or TAPROOT analysis.
• Assist departments in developing and implementing field OH&S inspection programs
• Prepare official investigation reports and perform joint investigations with site contractors.
• Provide detailed reporting to the client identifying compliance concerns and recommendations.
• Assist with HSE related tracking and trending through a documented observation system or other key performance indicators. (KPI’s)
